MOLINOS DE AGUA. ARQUITECTURA POPULAR Gran cantidad de molinos de agua se pueden encontrar en las orillas de los ríos y arroyos de Boqueixón, contamos con un total de 65 molinos distribuídos por las 14 parroquias del municipio. La abundancia de agua en subsuelo gallego alcanza en Boqueixón una de sus máximas expresiones. El molino está incluído dentro del conjunto  de construcciones  que intervienen en el proceso de confección del pan: terreno lindante con la casa , el hórreo, el molino y el horno. Por lo regular los molinos son unas construciones de piedra tirando a cuadrados de unos doce metros sin ventanas o con una muy pequeña.  La cubierta es un simple tello a una o dos aguas, bien de losa o teja del país, o los de recién restauración, de hormigón armado. Un elemento que lo diferencia de otras  construciones, es el posadero, consiste en una losa empotrada en un muro al lado de la puerta, para dejar los sacos. Cuenta con dos pisos, el infierno, donde se sitúa la rueda, por donde pasa el agua, y el suelo, donde está el mecanismo de trituración del grano. TIPOS BÁSICOS DE MOLINOS: de aceite, de cáscara, de azufre, de vidrio y harineros. ATENDIENDO A LA FUERZA MOTRIZ:  De man, de vento ou hidráulicos. Hidráulicos: de marea ou de río. De río: de rodicio horizontal ou de rodicio vertical. En Boqueixón só existe un tipo de muíños: fariñeiros e de rodicio horizontal. MUÍÑO DO CEREIXO (LEDESMA) Éste é un muíño de canle que está situado en pleno río Ulla. É de propiedade particular e na actualidade atópase nun estado ruinoso pero no seu día contaba con dúas pedras. 

MILLS, POPULAR ARCHITECTURE Great quantity of mills can be in the shores of the rivers and Boqueixón’s creeks, we have a total of 65 water mills distributed in 14 parishes of the municipality. It consists of two plants, the “inferno” where the “rodicio” is, where the water happens, and the “tremiñado”, where there is the mechanism of crushing of the grain. Hydraulic: of tide or of river Of river: Of “rodicio” horizontal or vertical. In Boqueixón only there is a type of mill: of flour and of “rodicio” horizontal. MILL ” DO CEREIXO ” (Ledesma) It is a mill of channel that is placed in plenary session river Ulla. It is a private property and at present it is in a ruinous condition, but in that moment it had two stones.
