Pousada
A parish of 4.30 km2 and 195 inhabitants, on fairly flat land with woodland and farmland. Its main activities are farming, livestock and forestry, and it also has a thriving carpentry industry. From its average altitude of 208 m, before the slopes drop down to the river, it looks towards the sunset over the Ulla estuary. It has ten settlements: Camporrapado (shared with Oural), A Corna, O Corral, A Eirexe, Guisande, Loureiro, O Pardiñeiro, O Pazo, O Pumariño and A Torre. Recent land-consolidation tracks provide good internal connections, and its easternmost part is crossed by the AC-260 Santiago–Vila de Cruces road.
Parish church of San Lourenzo de Pousada

This single-nave church shows a mix of styles: the exterior keeps Baroque features, while the interior follows historicist lines, the result of successive alterations over the last two centuries. The earliest records in the parish books date from the second half of the 18th century, the late Baroque period to which the surviving façade and bell gable belong. Inside, the triumphal arch leading to the main chapel dates from the first quarter of the 19th century, while the pulpit is more recent (1919).
· Altarpieces: main altarpiece, altarpiece of the Holy Christ and altarpiece of the Conception.
· Statues: Christ crucified, San Roque, St Lawrence, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Guardian Angel, Virgin and Child, St Anthony of Padua, Immaculate Conception and Mary Magdalene.
Chapel of Our Lady of the Spring

A simple building with a single nave on a cross-shaped plan. The shrine has undergone a great many repairs and alterations since it was built. The walls standing in 1748 and the square bell gable decorated with geometric motifs survive from the original Baroque building.
· Altarpieces: main altarpiece and altarpiece of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
· Statues: Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St Lucy and Our Lady of Anguish.
In its churchyard flows a spring believed to have miraculous powers to cure all ills
